Audiovisual Account Manager

Respond to Requests for Proposals. Provide professional proposals with hardware and services to generate sales for audiovisual systems. Develop and maintain client relationships and expand the company’s current client base.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify sales opportunities, provide accurate forecasts, activity follow up, close business, and report to management
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities ensuring that all company products and services have been thoroughly presented and the sales cycle successfully executed
  • Exhibit a consultative sales approach to determine a customer’s audiovisual or collaboration needs.
  • Use sales tools to develop price quotations and bid responses that are complete, accurate, and profitable.
  • Prepare contracts and pricing summaries for targets accounts and submit all required documentation and contracts
  • Work with the installation team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation
  • Responsible for developing and executing quarterly sales plans, meeting sales goals, expanding existing client base, and generating new business to meet established sales goals
  • Attend and participate in weekly office sales and team meetings
  • Establish professional relationships with internal project management and sales engineering personnel.
  • Actively track client contact information, provide detailed notes and track pending sales and estimating activities
  • Participate in certifications, training, and professional development activities as per AVIXA standards
  • Monitor project timelines on a weekly basis to ensure timely completion of installed projects, report to Finance
  • Attend customer Site visits and meetings as required
  • Other duties assigned as needed

Commercial AV Installation Technician

Creation Networks is seeking an AV technician with knowledge of commercial system installation and designs. The candidate should possess a minimum of 2 - 5 years of commercial audiovisual field experience. The Audiovisual Installation technicican is responsible for ensuring the design has been followed through the entire construction process. CTS, CTS-D is preferred. Understanding of all building trades, materials, and methods with a special emphasis on Mechanical and Electrical trades, strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Needs to demonstrate team leadership, the highest level of professionalism and courteous conduct at all times, lead by example and exhibit good leadership skills.

The candidate will be working directly with the Sales Manager, Project Manager and support staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned on an individual basis.

  • Installation, day to day job site responsibilities, updating Superintendent and PM and project team on site status.
  • Rack construction, pulling cable, equipment rack & stack, preperation and installation of equipment.
  • Installation of racks, projectors, monitors, video conferencing and related mounts.
  • Verify and test system components to assure system completeness and convention.
  • Uses Avixa-approved installation methods and techniques.
  • Ensures all work complies with company policies, procedures, standards and conventions.
  • Assures each system’s physical completeness is in accordance with installation drawings and specs.
  • Complete understanding of drawings, field redlines, SOW and make action plans for unexpected delays.
  • Maintain an ongoing dialog with the Project Manager, and installation team ensuring that quality, performance, and materials meet required schedules and expectations.
  • The technicians works closely with PM to ensure project guidelines from pre-construction thru project completion and client hand-off.
  • The technician is responsible for maintaining assigned equipment inventory and assigned tools.
  • Utilize company apps to update daily activity for client projects.
  • Ensures proper safety practices on project site and warehouse locations by the installation team.
  • Handles other duties relative to the job as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent as a prerequisite.
  • Experience installing audio-visual, teleconferencing, corporate video, control systems, and related systems preferred.
  • Must have Polycom, Cisco, Crestron, AMX, BiAmp, ClearOne training/knowledge and hands-on experience is preferred.
  • Experience using hand tools in the A/V and electronic-related trades is a plus. This is inclusive of, but not limited to, wire strippers and crimpers for varying types of wire and cable, soldering tools/techniques, construction equipment such as wall anchors, (concrete, brick & block) attachment devices, unistrut steel support, etc.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Open to someone with a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • The position of technician requires the following attributes: technical capability, professionalism, self- motivation, self-discipline, focus and attention to detail and punctuality.
  • Must be able to stand, kneel and crouch for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding.
  • Must be able to work in high places and in small cramped places.
  • Must be able to maintain the following attributes while under pressure from deadlines: technical capability, professionalism, self-motivation, self-discipline, focus, and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to maintain a safety-minded approach to all activities.
  • The ideal candidate has a proven track record in troubleshooting and identifying customer needs, system issues with limited information, while having the ability to utilize this information in assigning proper personnel and providing the appropriate response to most efficiently and effectively address the reported issue.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely, frequently and independently move and handle up to 80 lbs.
  • Ability to travel in U.S. as required- up to 35% annually.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be Covid Vaccinated.
